Action game. Velvet Assassin is told from a flashback perspective and introduces you to Violette Summer, who was born in England and grew up in a happy family. The game begins when Violette has been badly injured and stays in a French hospital, trying to recover. The missions are not easy ones, but you have numerous options to use throughout the gameplay. The biggest part of the play consists of briefings for missions, where she explains what she needs to do. There are not so many details which explain you the back story; you will learn the rest missing elements of the storyline only in the last missions.
